Bryan Hill, DDS
Dr. Bryan Hill is a dedicated and passionate dentist who grew up in southern West Virginia. He pursued his dental education at West Virginia University, where he was recognized with the PJ Zickefoose Memorial scholarship for his compassionate patient care. Following his graduation in 2015, Dr. Hill furthered his expertise by completing an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) program in Dallas, TX. Specializing in cosmetic dentistry, Dr. Hill is committed to transforming lives through enhanced smiles. He places a strong emphasis on continuing education, and attending top cosmetic dentistry programs nationwide. His extensive training focuses on Porcelain Veneers, Smile Design, and Porcelain Crowns.
Dr. Hill advocates for a conservative approach to cosmetic dentistry, striving to preserve as much of the natural tooth as possible. Remarkably, he can apply porcelain veneers without any drilling on the teeth. Dr. Hill is actively involved in several professional organizations, including the Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Academy of General Dentistry, the North Carolina Dental Society, and the American Dental Association.
Outside of his professional life, Dr. Hill enjoys spending quality time with his family, friends, and his Goldendoodle, Warby, around Charlotte, NC (often referred to as the Queen City). He is a devoted Panthers fan and loves outdoor activities such as photography, playing basketball, skiing, and hiking.
Dhanika Patel, DDS
Dr. Dhanika Patel is thrilled to become a member of the Afton Dental family! Dr. Patel graduated summa cum laude from the University of South Carolina with a bachelor’s degree in Biology. She then went on to dental school at Virginia Commonwealth University where she received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree. After graduating, she completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency through the University of Florida. Dr. Patel wanted to get an extra year of training to learn a wider range of skills that she could offer her patients at an exceptional standard.
Dr. Patel’s residency trained her in implant dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Patel loves dentistry because of the personal relationships she can create with her patients. She has a very artistic side and loves transforming patients’ smiles. Dr. Patel devotes numerous hours to continuing education to ensure that she is up to date on the newest technology and procedures to provide exceptional care to her patients. Some of the notable CE courses she has attended include the Dawson Academy, Implant Educators, and CDOCS. In her free time, Dr. Patel enjoys watching college football, exploring new places, staying active, and spending time with her friends and family.
